Rooted in Care: Why Personalized Medicine Matters More Than Ever

Time: the biggest frustration for patients and providers alike. Patients feel unheard and unseen in the current model of medicine. Doctors are often forced to see patients in 15 minutes and obtain an entire history, perform an exam, and come up with a comprehensive plan. This is barely enough time to scratch the surface. This is the why for me - I want more for my patients.
At Rooted Health, my mission is to spend time with each patient to learn as much as each patient is willing to share. I want to know the names of your pets to your favorite food to the thing that is causing you the most stress in life. I want to help you devise a plan that is all encompassing and individualized. With direct primary care/concierge medicine, I have the ability to do just that.
I want to take time to:
Understand your full health history and how your family history may impact you
Dive deep into lifestyle factors like nutrition, sleep, and exercise
Use advanced testing with specific labs and the potential use of fitness trackers if this is something that interests you
Create a personalized health plan with you as the co-pilot
Rooted in Relationship, Not Just Transactions:
When time is no longer a factor, I am focused on you:
How are you feeling
How can we improve upon your health plan
What are your biggest goals and how can I help you achieve that
What are things you should avoid doing - not all therapies are good for all people
Beyond the Exam Room: A Holistic Approach
Nutrition and gut health
Stress and mental well being
Movement and recovery
Sleep and hormonal balance
Why should you choose Rooted Health?
No rushed appointments
Direct access to me
No pressure to do anything we have not agreed upon together - no erroneous labs or medications prescribed without discussion and without individualized assessment to insure your safety
At Rooted Health, my goal is to walk alongside you on your health journey while uncovering the root cause of illness to help you thrive rather than just survive.
